Abstract:
Provided is a spiral fluid machine having a structure that achieves high-speed rotation and is compact. This spiral fluid machine (1) is provided, inside a housing (2), with: a drive spiral member (5) provided with at least one drive spiral piece (51, 52) extending in a spiral shape; and a driven screw member (6) having driven screws (6a1, 6b1) that mesh with the drive spiral piece (51, 52) and define compression spaces (71, 72), the driven screw member (6) being connected to the drive screw member (5) via a rotation synchronization mechanism (9). A drive unit (4) for rotating the drive spiral member (5) is configured from a stator (42) fixed within the housing (2) and a rotor (41) fixed to the drive spiral member (5).
