Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance by forming plated films containing the preset quantity of nickel, tungsten or the like on the surface of the compression chamber side of a fixed scroll or a rotary scroll made of aluminum.
CONSTITUTION: End plates 3, 10 and spiral type lap sections 4, 11 erected in front of the end plates made of aluminum unit or aluminum alloy are constituted of a fixed scroll 2 or a rotary scroll 9 or both scrolls. Plated films 13, 14 with nickel 60W95wt.%, tungsten 3W20wt.%, and phosphorus 2W20wt.% are formed on the surfaces on the compression chamber 16 side of the end plates 3, 10 and the lap sections 4, 11 of the fixed scroll 2 or rotary scroll 9 or both scrolls.
