Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable design displacement ratio to be increased to the maximum without increasing the external shape of a scroll in a scroll fluid machinery and configure the basic spiral curve of the scroll by a simple curve.
SOLUTION: A basic spiral curve of a scroll lap is constituted by a concentric semi-circle group, an arc group whose center is different from that of the semi- circle group, and a linear group or curve group which connects the semi-circle group and the arc group, and the diameter of the semi-circle on the other most circumference side of a fixed scroll member is so constituted as to be twice as long as the radius of the arc on the outer most circumference side of a swivel scroll member. In addition, the outer diameter of an end plate 6f of a swivel scroll 6 is equal to that of a lap on the outer most circumference side of the swivel scroll 6.
