PURPOSE: To easily machine the lap part of a fixed scroll as well as to make the extent of accuracy of finishing improvable by forming a ring flange part and an end plate of the fixed scroll with separate members, and attaching them tight together through a clamping means.
CONSTITUTION: A ring flange part 14 is situated at the outer peripheral side of a fixed scroll 13 and almost formed into a cylindrical form, while a tubular part 9 of a turning scroll 6 and a seal member 22 or the like are housed in the ring recess 14A. In addition, a lap pat 16 in a scroll form just like another lap part 8 of the turning scroll 6 is erected at the inner surface side of an end plate 15 formed with a separate member from the ring flange part 14. The end plate 15 is positioned to an end plate anchoring part 14D of the ring flange part 14 and then it is locked thereto with a mounting bolt 18 as a clamping means. Thus, since the ring flange part 14 and the end plate 15 are formed with separate members, they are formable with an optimum material separately. Consequently, the lap part 16 is easily machinable, thus accuracy of finishing is improvable as well.
