Abstract:

To provide a scroll type machine having two scroll type compressors in a single exterior shell.

The inside of the exterior shell 12 is divided into a sucking pressure chamber 90 and two discharging pressure chambers 80, and two scroll type compressors driven by a single driving shaft 30 are connected to both ends of the driving shaft. Each scroll type compressor is provided with a swiveling scroll member 56 and non-swiveling scroll member 70. The driving shaft is driven by a motor provided with a stator 28 and a rotor 44 at a center part thereof. A capacity adjusting mechanism 112 controlled in pulse width and a fluid injecting device 168 are built in one of the scroll type compressor. There are embodiments wherein the capacity adjusting mechanism and the fluid injecting device are built in both of the scroll type compressors or these mechanism and device are not built in the compressors.
