PURPOSE: To dissolve abrasion and seizure so as to have a long service life by force-feeding liquid refrigerant to a bearing regardless of the flow direction of liquid, the rotating direction of a compressor, and improve the sealing performance of a compression chamber without increasing mechanical loss by pressing a turning scroll to a fixed scroll.
CONSTITUTION: At least a pump formed of both fixed and turning scrolls 2, 3, and a motor 5 are built in a closed container 1. Refrigerant is sucked into the closed container 1 from an intake pipe 12 to cool the motor 5, and after being force-fed to both outer and inner pump chambers 14, 15 successively from the intake port 13 of the turning scroll 3, the refrigerant is discharged outside of the closed container 1 from a discharge port 16 and a discharge pipe 17. At the operating time of the pump, at least the main bearing 8 and auxiliary bearing 9 of a crankshaft are in a low pressure atmosphere. Liquid refrigerant is therefore fed from a housing 18 through a passage 21 and plural liquid feed holes 22, 23. Liquid refrigerant functions as lubricant so as to dissolve abrasion and seizure.
