To provide a scrubber combined cooling tower formed in one unit without providing a scrubber, separately, while greatly reducing its installation cost, installation space and operation standby cost, as compared with the case of independently providing the scrubber, and avoiding waste.
The scrubber combined cooling tower 13 comprises a cold water spray pipe 8 arranged in a tower body 7 at its upper part into which cold water having temperature rise is returned, a cooling fan 9 for feeding air into the tower body 7 for cooling the sprayed cold water, a cold water storage part 10 formed in the tower body 7 at its bottom for feeding the cooled cold water while storing it, and a released gas introduction pipe 11 arranged in the cold water storage part 10 for introducing gas released from equipment. Herein, a filler layer 12 in which a filler is stored is provided for putting the released gas introduced through the released gas introduction pipe 11 into the cold water storage part 10 and moving up in the tower body 7 in contact with the sprayed cold water.
