Title:
SCRUBBING BRUSH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3464105
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a soft feeling to a product of a scrubbing brush and enhance its water absorbing and keeping characteristics by weaving or knitting threads consisting of a natural fiber or chemical fiber so that an underlay is prepared, entangling flat wire of metal (lamella thread) with a thread containing a good quantity of water so that a single piece of synthetic thread is produced, and weaving in this synthetic thread in such a way as entangled with the surface of the underlay.
SOLUTION: An underlay 10 is formed from threads of a chemical fiber such as tetron, natural fiber such as cotton, etc., and a flat textile is prepared by using these threads as warps or wefts or by knitting them. The obtained flat textile is used as the underlay 10. Synthetic thread 2 is formed from synthesizing a thread made of a material containing a good quantity of water such as cotton and a flat wire of metal (lamella thread) prepared by evaporating a metal such as aluminum onto the surface of a film tape of a soft synthetic resin such as nylon and providing a metal film on the surface so that a single piece of thread is accomplished. The obtained synthetic thread 2 is woven into the surface of the underlay 10 or knit in so that a crude material for intended rubbing brush 20 is produced, and a core 3 of sponge is encapsulated in a sack 30 produced using this crude material of brush 20. Thus the intended brush is completed.
