Abstract:
To obtain a fiber sheet capable of forming a three-dimensional gap in a width direction in which ultra-fine fibers are bonded at points and further being applied to a filter material for a highly functional filter excellent in resistance or moldability when used by being integrated with another material.SOLUTION: A sea-island fiber of this invention has a fiber cross-section in which a composite type island component consisting of two or more kinds of polymers having different melting points from each other is arranged in a sea component. A diameter of the island component is 0.1-5.0 μm and a degree of shape modification is 1.0-1.3.SELECTED DRAWING: None
