Abstract:

To provide a seal cap which can impart a moderation feeling at attachment to a worker without forming the seal cap into an inverse shape, or applying special processing to a fastener, and does not cause a large reaction from a fastened member, a sealing method of a fastening structure using the cap, and the fastening structure to which the cap is attached.SOLUTION: A seal cap 5 for sealing a clearance between a head part 42 of a fastener 4 and a surface 22 of a fastened member 2 comprises a head part covering part 51 for covering the head part 42 of the fastener 4, a surface covering part 52 for covering a periphery of the head part 51 on a surface 22 of the fastened member 2, and a flexible thin-thickness part 53 for connecting the head part covering part 51 and the surface covering part 52. In a state that the seal cap 5 is not attached to a fastening structure 1, the surface covering part 52 protrudes to the surface 22 side of the fastened member 2 rather than the head part covering part 51, and at the attachment of the seal cap 5, the movement of the head part covering part 51 to the surface 22 side of the fastened member 2 with respect to the surface covering part 52 is permitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
