Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a seal construction of high sealing performance by providing an elastically deformable packing member on the full circumference of an opening part and a sealing member in contact with the packing member at its full circumference, and continuously forming recessed parts for forming lips extending over the full circumferential part of the sealing member in contact with the packing member.
CONSTITUTION: This seal construction 25 is constituted so that it is provided with a packing member 20 provided on the full circumference of an opening part and elastically deformable and a sealing member 21 contacting with the packing member 20 at its full circumference, and recessed parts 26 for forming lips are continuously formed extending over the full circumference of the part of the sealing member 21 contacting with the packing member 20. The sealing area is enlarged by the lips formed on the packing member by the recessed parts 26 for forming lips, and sealing performance of the seal construction 25 is improved by pushing the recessed parts 26 for forming lips of the sealing member 21 with the lips by difference between inner and outer pressure.
