Abstract:
To keep a sealing function around a pump shaft even when high-temperature and high-pressure fluid reaches after SBO occurs.SOLUTION: A seal device for a pump in one embodiment is provided on an outer peripheral side of a pump shaft or a rotary member rotating together with a pump shaft comprises a first member, a second member, a fastening member for fastening the first and second members, and a resin seal ring held between the first and second members. The seal ring includes a fixed part nipped between the first and second members, a spacer provided in a cavity formed in an outer peripheral region at the fixed part and restraining deformation of the cavity to secure a space formed by the cavity against a fastening force of the fastening force, and a lip part extending in the axial direction of the seal ring from the fixed part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
