PURPOSE: To perform the registration of a seal impression directory in a short time by processing the area extraction of a stamped part from the image data of a seal impression slip parallelly with the reading processing of density and the seal impression slip, inputting the information of items decided in advance and outputting it as seal impression registration information.

CONSTITUTION: A scanner control terminal 2 is provided to perform the area extraction of the printed part from the image data of the seal impression slip read by an image scanner 1 and the automatic setting of the density of the printed part, and this processing is performed parallelly with the reading processing of the seal impression slip by the image scanner 1. Then, the input of previously decided information to the seal impression slip is performed to the image data of the seal impression slip set by the scanner control terminal 2 and these data are outputted by an information input terminal 4 as the seal impression registration information. That outputted seal impression registration information is registered on a server 3. Thus, the registration of the seal impression directory can be completed in a short time.
