Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, inexpensively massproduce the sealing materials by forming circular half-cut parts on an outer periphery of a central hole of a plate-shaped reinforcement member made of a rigid material, forming an adhesive layer on an annular part therebetween, integrating the same with a sealing annular elastic body in a mold, and separating the half-cut parts. SOLUTION: The half-cut parts 1b are formed on an outer periphery of a central hole 1a simultaneously with the formation of the central hole la on a rigid plate-shaped reinforcement member 1, an adhesive layer 3 is formed only an annular part 13 formed thereby, an elastic body 2 is molded and fixed thereto, and the half-cut parts 1b are separated to form a sealing member. On this occasion, the elastic body 2 is formed into the shape of a lip or the high contact shape, capable of exercising the maximum sealing function, and its outer peripheral part is performed into the shape capable of ensuring the effective shape after the separation of the half-cut parts 1b. The adhesive layer 3 applied and formed only on the annular part 13 permits the free molding of the elastic body 2, and an outside part of the half-cut parts 1b does not permit the fixing of the elastic body, whereby the half-cut parts can be easily separated without burring. That is, the cutting molding can be easily executed in safety, the structure of a mold can be simplified and the molding processs can be shortened.
