Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent oil leakage by providing movable side plates which are in sliding contact with axial both ends of a driven gear in an axially moving manner, and also providing a piston which slides against therewith and forms a hydraulic pressure operation chamber on a back side of the side plate.
CONSTITUTION: When a rear wheel exceeds a front wheel in rotational speed, rotational speed of a casing 29 exceeds that of a retainer 30. A ring gear 32 and a driven gear 31 are rotated in the direction of an arrow (a). As for a driven gear 31, operation oil from a hydraulic pressure generation chamber A is flowed into a positive side hydraulic operation chamber (b) through an oil passage 27a. The oil is prevented from flowing into an oil tank 38 by means of a one-way valve 51e, throttled by an orifice 51c for increasing its pressure. Torque is transmitted to the front wheel by the hydraulic pressure. A movable side plate 50 pressurizes the driven gear 31, a retainer main body 30a, and the ring gear 32 at their right ends through the hydraulic pressure. Left ends are pressurized by means of a thrust bearing 48 through a movable side plate 44 and a piston 46. Both ends are sealed for preventing oil leakage from the hydraulic pressure generation chamber.
