To provide a seal member mounting supporting device enabling to easily and adequately mount a seal member without deforming it while improving workability, and to provide the seal member and a throttle device.
In the seal member mounting supporting device 30, a communication passage is formed to communicate an approximately closed space which is encircled by the seal member, a housing and a cylindrical portion, with an open space on the opposite side to the pushing-in direction of the seal member, the seal member having the thin cylindrical portion 30E whose inner diameter is somewhat larger than the outer diameter of a shaft member to allow it to be inserted into the outer periphery of the shaft member, and being pushed between the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical portion and the inner peripheral face on the housing side in the state that the cylindrical portion 30E is inserted into the outer periphery side of the shaft member 14.
