Abstract:
To provide a seal member with good mountability that secures waterproofness of a branch part of a sheath wire.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a seal member 1 which seals a branch part including a branch point where a plurality of electric wires 55 branch off from a sheath wire 50 of a multi-core cable and its periphery, and the seal member comprises a seal housing 20 surrounding the branch part, and a seal part 10 housed inside the seal housing 20. The seal part 10 is divided into an electric wire seal part 100 which seals a periphery of the electric wires 55 of the branch part and a sheath seal part 110 which seals a periphery of the sheath wire 50 positioned behind. The seal housing 20 comprises a cantilever beam-like lock arm part 202 having a lock part 203 atop, the sheath seal part comprises a seal cover 130 at a rear end part, and the seal cover comprises a lock part 134 locked to a lock part 203 of the lock arm part 202 at a predetermined position on a side face. The sheath seal part comprises an outer lip 115 and an inner lip 114 extending annularly. The electric wire seal part 100 comprises an inner lip 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
