Abstract:
To provide a seal ring having excellent moldability and sealing performance, a cross shaft joint, and a steering device.SOLUTION: A seal ring has a circular core metal, and an elastic portion fixed to the core metal, the elastic portion has a bearing-side seal lip kept into contact with a radial bearing over the whole periphery, the core metal has a cylindrical portion for making a shaft portion pass through a radial inner side of the shaft portion, and an inclined portion extended to a radial outer side over the whole periphery from an end portion of the cylindrical portion at a step face side in a central axial direction of the shaft portion, the inclined portion is inclined to approach the radial bearing side in the central axial direction of the shaft portion in accordance with approaching the radial outer side of the shaft portion, the inclined portion has a penetration portion penetrated in the central axial direction of the shaft portion, the elastic portion is fixed to the radial bearing side and the step face side of the inclined portion in the central axial direction of the shaft portion, and elastic portions at the radial bearing side and the step face side are integrally formed through the penetration portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
