Abstract:
To provide a seal ring, in which an interference of gate marks formed on an inner surface of the seal ring onto a bottom of an annular groove is suppressed, a rotary shaft with the seal ring is made to hardly fall into the annular groove when being inserted into a shaft hole of a housing, and thereby excessive protrusion from the annular groove is suppressed.SOLUTION: A seal ring 1 is mounted in an annular groove provided in a rotary shaft that is inserted into a shaft hole of a housing, slidably contacts a side wall surface of the annular groove on the non-sealing fluid side, and contacts an inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole so as to seal an annular gap between the rotary shaft and the shaft hole. The seal ring 1 is an injection-mold product of a resin composition, which is provided, on an inner peripheral surface 3 of the ring, with a gate mark 8 protruding inward in the radial direction and a thick section 7 protruding inward in the radial direction with respect to the gate mark 8 and having an increased thickness in the radial direction of the seal ring 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
