To provide a seal for sealing, which allows a right opening person to clearly confirm that a seal portion sealed in an unsealed state is genuine.
The seal for sealing includes base material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on at least a part of one surface of the base material, and a release sheet protecting the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. A pressure sensitive adhesive of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains stress light-emitting material, and adhesive strength for each of them is set such that: adhesive strength between the release sheet and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is lower than interlayer strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, but the interlayer strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is lower than adhesive strength between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the base material; and the adhesive strength between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and an object to be sealed is equal to or above the adhesive strength between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the base material when the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer exposed by peeling the release sheet from the seal for sealing is stuck to the object to be sealed.
