Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a one-pack liquid epoxy resin composition which is excellent in storage stability, pot life, and surface curability and provides cured article excellent in impact and moisture resistances.
CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises a liquid epoxy resin, a liquid poly(carboxylic anhydride), an N-8-arylalkyl-1,8-diazabicyclo(5.4.0)undecene-7 tetraarylborat and a microencapsulated latent hardener, the amount of the borate being 0.5-5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. the resin.
