Title:
SEAL STRUCTURE OF BLADE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3820071
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a blade formed such that the airfoil is a seal structure where filling is effected on individual shrouds not integrally formed and in deformation during operation of the blade, wide deformation, breakage, and dislocation of the shroud due to a shearing load are prevented from occurring, a manufacturing cost is reduced, and seal performance is improved.
SOLUTION: Individual shrouds are situated at the tips of blades forming a blade row of rotary machinery. A peripheral groove is formed in the peripheral surface, on the side where seal is effected, of the shroud, and a seal strip is peripherally filled throughout the grooves of a plurality of the shrouds. In a so formed seal structure of an airfoil, the groove has a deep groove part processed in one side in a peripheral direction of each shroud more deeply than other part. The seal strip is securely caulked in the groove by a locking strip extending throughout a plurality of the grooves.
