Abstract:
To provide a seal structure which is advantageous for suppressing the lowering of assembling performance when attaching a cover to a case, and can suppress the lowering of the seal performance of a seal member resulting from the corrosion or the like of the case.SOLUTION: A seal structure comprises a metal-made case 2 having an opening part 20 and a cover opposing face 22, a resin-made cover 3 having a case opposing face 32 opposing the cover opposing face, and a seal member 4 interposed between the case opposing face and the cover opposing face. The cover has an annular groove part 5 which is opened at the case opposing face. The seal member has an annular main seal part 41 which is inserted into the groove part when assembling the case and the cover, and compressed between a wall face 51 of the groove part and the cover opposing face, an annular cutoff lip part 42 located outside an external peripheral face of the main seal part, and a connecting part 43 for connecting the main seal part and the cutoff lip part. When assembling the case and the cover, the cutoff lip part pressure-contacts with the cover opposing face by the elastic deformation of the connecting part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
