Abstract:
To effectively suppress the leakage of a lubricant from a clearance between block bodies of an engine and a crankshaft to the outside.SOLUTION: In a seal structure 40 of a crankshaft 30 which is rotatably supported between an upper-side block body 14 and a lower-side block body 16 of an engine 10, a plurality of bearing holes for pivoting a journal part 32 are formed between the upper-side block body 14 and the lower-side block body 16, an upper-side seal wall 41 extending downward from the upper-side block body 14B, and having an upper-side recess 41A, and a lower-side seal wall 42 extending upward from the lower-side block body 16B, and having a lower-side recess 42A are arranged in the bearing hole 28 for pivoting the journal part 32 at one end side in an axial direction out of the plurality of bearing holes, the upper-side seal wall 41 and the lower-side seal wall 42 are adjacently arranged in the axial direction, and an annular groove 45 is defined in the bearing hole 28, thus forming a labyrinth seal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
