To obtain a sealant composition capable of obtaining a seal having a suitable strength, easily being opened (peeled off) on opening (peeling off) the seal after its adhesion and also having a good heat-sealing property at a low temperature and heat resistance of the heat sealed part.
This sealant composition having an easily peeled off property consists of the following components (A) and (B), and also satisfying a condition (C). (A) A modified olefin-based polymer which is modified by an unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride and an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester and has ≥1 mean number of bonds of carboxylic acid anhydride group in a molecule and also the ratio of the number of carboxylic acid ester group to the number of carboxylic acid anhydride of 0.5-20 in the above modified olefin-based polymer. (B) A polymer containing hydroxy group having ≥1 mean number of bonds of the hydroxy groups per 1 molecule. (C) The ratio of the number of hydroxy groups in the component (B) to the number of carboxylic acid anhydride groups in the component (A) being 0.1-5.
