PURPOSE: To manufacture a container for sealing a carbonated drink, particularly a beer, forming tops of fine and smooth foams when being poured.
CONSTITUTION: A sealed container 1 is provided with a separate hollow insert 5. Carbon dioxide gas is not substantially contained in the insert 5. The insert 5 is provided with a means 6 responding to the opening of the container 1, communicating the inside of the insert with a drink 7 in the container when the container is opened and jetting gas out of the insert into the drink. The means is preferably constituted of a pressure response valve. The insert 5 can be so constituted as to increase the internal pressure of the container after the container 1 is sealed. The insert 5 can also be constituted to float on the surface of the drink 7.
