To provide a sealed container having a packing member in which its fitting to a cap may easily be carried out, a positive sealing of it when the cap is screwed is attained, its diameter is set to be larger against a resiliency when the cap is fitted or removed and at the same time its resiliency is recovered to reduce the elastic fatigue.

There are provided a container 1 having an opening neck 3 raised therefrom; and a cap 11 having an inner cylinder 15, a middle cylinder 16 and an outer cylinder 14 suspended vertically from a top wall 13 and having an opening neck thread fitting female screw at the lower half part of the outer cylinder. A circumferential wall 22 rising from an outer circumference of a bottom plate 23 can be freely inserted into the opening neck, an inner resilient cylinder 24 fitted to an outer surface of the lower part of the inner cylinder is erected from the upper end of the circumferential wall, an outer surface of an outward flange 26 at the lower end of the outer resilient cylinder 25 suspended from the upper end of the cylinder is engaged with an upper surface of an engaging protrusion 17 circumferentially arranged at the inner surface of the lower part of upper half part of the outer cylinder, the inner cylinder 15 is put in under fastening of the cap to cause the circumferential wall 22 to be expanded at its diameter, the outer surface is brought into press contact with the inner surface of the opening neck part, the upper end surface of the opening neck part and the lower end surface of the middle cylinder can hold the outward flange 26.
