Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the tip part of the electronic endoscope, by which an adhesive does not ooze out into a visual field range, a prism and a solidstate image pickup element can be fixed surely, and also, the tip of an inserting part does not become thick.
CONSTITUTION: In the tip part of the electronic endoscope, in which the emitting surface 24a of a prism 24 arranged in the rear end of an objective optical system 20 and the image receiving surface 31a of a solid-state image pickup element 31 are fixed so as to be opposed to each other, in the tip 11 of an inserting part, a frame body 34 bent and formed on the side face side of the prism 24 from the opposed face is joined to the prism 24 in the side face part, and also, a frame body 33 bent and formed on the side face side of the solid-state image pickup element 31 is joined to the solid-state image pickup element 31 in the side face part, and also, each of both the frame bodies 33, 34 is joined in each opposed face.
