Abstract:
To provide a battery with higher output and higher capacity having a shorter interval between electrode plates than the existing batteries by using a separator excellent in anti-short circuiting for the sealed lead battery.
The sealed lead battery uses a separator mainly made of glass fibers mixed with pulp of 5-20% in weight and inorganic powders whose particle diameter is 50 μm or less of 1-15% in weight, and the interval between the electrode plates is 1.0 mm or less.
