To prevent a battery jar constituted of a two- or more-layered film resin from being damaged by providing an impact absorbing member between the film resin layers of a sealed storage battery wrapped with two or more layered film resin.
A battery jar is constituted of a polypropylene layer 1, a polypropylene layer 2, a polyethylene phthalate layer 3, an impact absorbing member 4, and a polypropylene layer 5. The impact absorbing member 4 is sealed and dispersed between the polypropylene layer 1 and the polypropylene layer 2. A sealing means is formed of the polypropylene layer 1 (thickness 50 μm) and the polypropylene layer 2 (thickness 50 μm) by heat welding. The impact absorbing member 4 is so formed that water, air, and calcium chloride hydrate is sealed in a space of the diameter 5 mm and the height 0.5 mm with their volume rate set to 1:1:1. The polyethylene phthalate layer 3 (thickness 30 μm) is arranged for enhancing the strength of the battery jar.
