For a cylindrical part housing container 12 made of stainless steel, a lid 15 is fitted in a ring-shape formed part at the opening end of the container 12, with a packing, and the lid is placed by clamping by a plurality of latches. On the rear surface of the lid 15, a cushioning member 16 comprising a sponge made of a synthetic resin, is attached. On the surface of the cushioning member 16, a resin is coated so that a foreign object may not generate due to a wear when the surface of the cushioning member 16 comes into contact with parts for mechanical device being housed in the container 12, and is made to be dust-free. Also, on the bottom part of the container 12, a fixing base plate 17 which is formed into a doughnut shape of vinyl chloride, is arranged, and the rim of a part fixing base plate 18 can be loosely fitted.
