To provide a sealed type electric compressor and a refrigerating cycle device equipped with the electric compressor positively regulating the runout of a rotating shaft at a motor part to prevent the occurrence of noise, vibration, or the like and to reduce bearing load to thereby improve reliability by forming the rotating shaft in twin-supported structure at the motor part constituted as an outer rotor type.
In this sealed type electric compressor M, an electric compressor body 5 with a compression mechanism part 3 and the motor part 4 integrally connected through the rotating shaft 2, is held in a sealed case 1. The compression mechanism part is provided with a main bearing 8 for journaling the rotating shaft, and the motor part is constituted as the outer rotor type equipped with a stator 15 provided with a hole part 20 through which the rotating shaft passes, and a rotor 16 mounted to the end of the rotating shaft and facing the outer peripheral surface of the stator with a predetermined space. The stator is fixed to the compression mechanism part, and an auxiliary bearing member 21 is mounted to the hole part through which the rotating shaft passes, of the stator to journal the rotating shaft by the auxiliary bearing member.
