A sealer applying device includes a sealer applying unit 5 having a nozzle 8 with a sealer discharge opening 8a formed in its lower end. According to the sealer applying device, as the sealer applying unit 5 is kept in contact with the slot bottom 101a of a Mohican slot 101 on the upper surface of a vehicle body by the weight of the sealer applying unit 5 and is moved forward relative to the vehicle body, a sealer is discharged from a discharge opening 8a of the nozzle 8. The sealer applying unit 5 is provided with a guide member 9 which extends to be lower than the discharge opening 8a of the nozzle 8 and has a lower end 9a brought into contact with the slot bottom 101a of a Mohican slot 101.
