Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform work for enclosing the sealant chamber of a tire tube with a sealant in a short time. SOLUTION: Six tire tube support parts 41 capable of clamping four tire tubes 2 are provided to the outer periphery of an index table 42 rotated intermittingly by 60 deg.. A work setting station S1 for supporting the tire tubes 2 on the tire tube support parts 41 to clamp them, a buffing vacuum drawing station S2 for buffing the peripheries of the sealant filling holes of the tire tubes 2 to draw air present in the sealant chambers under vacuum in such a state that clamping is temporarily released, a degreasing station S3 for degreasing the peripheries of the sealant filling holes, a primer coating station S4 for applying a primer to the peripheries of the sealant filling holes, a molding station S5 for molding a thermosetting resin in the sealant filling holes and an iron station S6 for heating the thermosetting resin to cure the same are provided to the outer periphery of the index table 42.
