The sealing apparatus includes: an attaching portion 37 to which a sealing agent supply device 31 storing a sealing agent inside is attached so as to be freely detached; and an end sensor 84 for detecting that the usable sealing agent is not left. A control section 7 includes an integrating means for integrating amounts of used sealing agent in the sealing agent supply device 31 attached to the attaching portion 37. The control section 7 exerts control such that based on the integrated value obtained by the integrating means, a notifying means 66 gives a notice to urge the replacement of the sealing agent supply device 31. Only if it is determined, by the detection of the end sensor 84, that the usable sealing agent is not left when the sealing agent supply device 31 is attached to and detached from the attaching portion 37, the control section 7 resets the integrated value of the integrating means.
