To provide a sealing device, which is constituted by a metal plate keep washer 10 in which a synthetic resin enclosure 2, a bolt 4 for fastening the same, and a seal washer 9 interfit to the bolt are provided, and the seal washer contacts with a head in the bolt, nut and washer, and a soft elastic body sealing ring object 11 which contacts with the cover and is processed in depress deformation in its axial direction by fastening the bolt, which avoids a damage caused by a thermal expansion of the cover, and improves the durability of the sealing ring object 11.
In the keep washer 10, a projection 10a directed the cover is provided, and this projection 10a contacts with the cover when a part of the cover in which the bolt is interfit is thermally expanded in an axial direction of the bolt in such a state that the bolt is fastened.
