Abstract:
To provide a sealing device excellent in the uniformity of a sealing length, and to provide a method for manufacturing a honeycomb filter.
The sealing device 100 includes: a body 10 having a concavity 10d which opens in the upward direction, and an interconnecting path 10e which opens at the inner surface of the concavity 10d; an elastic sheet 20 disposed at the body 10 so as to cover the concavity 10d; a bearing 60 that supports the body 10 so as to be rotatable around an axis; and a rotation driving unit 40 that rotates the body 10 around the axis.
