To prevent the occurrence of grease leakage by a method wherein an outer peripheral edge is locked in a lock recessed groove formed in the end part of the inner peripheral surface of an outer ring, a shield plate to cause approach of an inner peripheral edge to the end part of the outer peripheral surface of an inner ring is provided, and a film made of a resilient material is formed at the part, making contact with the lock recessed groove, of the shield plate.
A shield plate 16 is formed in a round ring-form manner on a whole by using a metallic sheet 17, such as a steel sheet and a stainless steel sheet, and a film 18 made of a resilient material, such as oil resistant rubber and an elastomer, is formed on one surface of the metallic sheet 17 throughout a whole surface. In the shield sheet 16, a return part 23 in a J-shape in cross section is formed in an out state on the outer peripheral edge of a main part 22 formed by interconnecting a flat part 19 on the inside diameter side and a flat part 20 on the outside diameter side through an inclination part 21. The return part 23 of the shield part 16 is locked in a lock recessed groove 8 formed in the inner peripheral surface of the end part of an outer ring 1 through resiliency. Even when flatness of the part situated closer to the outer periphery of the shield sheet 16 and the partial inner side surface of the lock recessed groove 8 is slightly adverse, seal is held on a whole and leakage of grease to the outside of grease is prevented from occurring.
