Abstract:
To provide a seal device with both the sealing effect and the bearing effect.
A plurality of stages are provided between a balance sleeve 6 and a balance drum 7 to form a seal device, and the length of one stage is larger than that of other stage. Because stepped parts 11a, 11b are the resistance against the leakage of the fluid, the leakage of the fluid is controlled, and at the same time, a longer stage demonstrates the bearing effect to provide the seal device with excellent bearing effect.
