Abstract:
To provide a sealing device 1 which can improve the operability of a piston member 3 by reducing the sliding resistance of seal lips 7, 8 at the start, the seal lips 7, 8 being arranged on the piston member 3 axially reciprocating in a housing 2 forming an annular bore portion.
Circumferential parallel grooves 11 or parallel projections formed on the sliding surfaces 13 of the seal lips 7, 8, which closely slide on the end faces of the side walls 21, 22 of the housing 2, are separated circumferentially by means of separating portions 12.
