To provide a sealing device capable of preventing water from adhering to a sheet conveyance guide member for conveying a sheet.
There is provided a sealing device which comprises: sheet conveyance means (42 and 45) having a remoistening glue part (8) for conveying a sheet 1 in the sheet conveying direction; a water applying member 76 which is provided in the sheet width direction orthogonal to the sheet conveying direction in order to apply water 75 to the remoistening glue part (8) of the sheet 1 conveyed by the sheet conveyance means (42 and 45); and sealing means (110) for sealing the sheet 1 to which the water 75 is applied by the water applying member 76. The sealing device has a sheet conveyance guide member 83 which is provided at intervals in the sheet width direction so as not to interfere with the water applying member 76 in order to guide the sheet 1 to the water applying member 76 and is provided by maintaining the intervals on the downstream in the sheet conveying direction from the water applying member 76.
