Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of suppressing sliding between itself and a groove bottom surface of an annular groove.SOLUTION: A sealing device includes a sealing device body 100 including an elastic body-based elastic ring, and a backup ring 200 arranged on a lower pressure side of the sealing device body 100 and becoming harder than the elastic ring. On an end surface on a low pressure side in the sealing device body 100, an inclination surface 140 is formed so as to approach a groove bottom surface from a high pressure side toward the low pressure side. On an end surface on the high pressure side in the backup ring 200, an inclination surface is formed so as to approach the groove bottom surface from the high pressure side toward the low pressure side. A support surface 210 is formed so as to support the inclination surface 140 of the sealing device body 100 in a slidable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
