Abstract:
To provide a sealing device which can further improve a function for suppressing the intrusion of foreign matters and the transmission of a sound.SOLUTION: A sealing device comprises: an annular attachment part attached to an internal peripheral face of an axial hole which is formed at a housing; an inside annular part arranged inside a radial direction rather than the attachment part; a seal lip part extending from the inside annular part, and contacting with an external peripheral face of a rotating shaft; a bellows part for connecting the attachment part and the inside annular part; a resin-made annular slide-moving member which is arranged inside the inside annular part, and in which the external peripheral face of the rotating shaft slide-moves; a sound insulation wall part which is fixed to or integrally formed at the slide moving member, spread to the outside of the slide-moving member, and inhibits the transmission of a sound; and a first sound insulation ring which is arranged apart from the bellows part rather than the sound insulation wall part, contacts with the internal peripheral face of the attachment part over the whole periphery, is attached to the attachment part in a form that movement in an axial line direction of the rotating shaft is regulated, contacts with the sound insulation wall part without a clearance, and inhibits the transmission of the sound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
