PURPOSE: To seal hollow parts with good operating characteristics free from the restriction of pot life, by filling hollow parts with two-pack material of the room-temperature reaction type obtained by blending a vinyl monomer and a vinyl-based oligomer as main components with a polymerization initiator or polymerization promotor respectively, polymerizing them.
CONSTITUTION: A two-pack material of the room-temperature reaction type consisting of (A) the first material obtained by blending a base comprising a vinyl monomer and/or an oligomer (e.g., methyl acrylate, polyester monoacrylate, etc.) containing vinyl group as main components with a polymerization initiator such as methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, etc. and (B) the second material obtained by blending the base with a polymerization promotor such as dimethylaniline, etc. is packed into hollow parts such as gaps between panels, etc. in such a way that the first material is brought into contact with the second material without blending them, and the first and the second materials are polymerized so that the hollow parts are sealed with an elastic polymer.
