To provide a sealing material, a glass panel, a glass building material and an electronic device capable of realizing a sealing structure having excellent heat resistance, durability and realizability, and methods for producing them.

The sealing material comprises alloy components, and having a solidification shrinkage rate in the range of -1%≤%≤β+1% and a melting point of 200°C or lower. In a glass panel, a glass building material and an electronic device having a sealing part 5 between confronted two glass substrates 71, 72, the sealing part 5 is composed of the above sealing material.
