Abstract:
PURPOSE:To treat a sealing material with ease by forming a longitudinal slit for communicating the outside with the core part, in a vacant rope-like resilient member of rubber or soft synthetic resin with the vacant core part filled with adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:A resilient member of a sealing material, in the form of a rope whose core part 21 has a vacant tubular wall part 11, has longitudinal slit 31 for communicating the outside with the core part 21. An adhesive agent is inserted in the core part 21. As in the conventional way, soft polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, ethylene, propylene rubber, nitrile rubber, polyurethane rubber or the similar is used as a material of the resilient member. Since any adhesive agent will not come outside the surface of the sealing material treatment may be easy and the need of any appendage for preventing the stickness of a separation pattern or so may be eliminated.
