PURPOSE: To decrease the adsorptive power of a generated reactive gas and to prevent the fluctuation of a measured value by using a melt coating film of a fluorine-contg. polymer to form at least part of the surface of a sealing means which faces the surface to be applied with the liquid sample of a multi- layered analyzing element.
CONSTITUTION: The sealing means such as, for example, a carrier 10 is used for an analyzing slide 20 so as to substantially coat the surface to be applied with the liquid sample of the multi-layered analyzing element in order to decrease the evaporation of the liquid sample from the multi-layered analyzing element in an incubation stage. The melt coating film 11 of the fluorine-contg. polymer which can be converted and fluidized at the temp. above the m.p. is formed on the surface part of the carrier 10 corresponding to the surface to be applied with the liquid sample of the multi-layered analyzing element. The coating film 11 is formed by forming, for example, a tetrafluroethylene layer contg. carbon black by a sintering method, coating a water dispersion of a tetrafluroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer on said layer and heating the same.
