To provide a sealing device capable of performing the sealing works without skillfulness and requiring only a short time for the works.
The sealing device is structured so that a bolt accommodation part 8 of a main cylindrical member 5 is furnished with a bulkhead 8a in a position apart from the open end for a distance corresponding to the thickness of a first nut 4, and an adjusting bolt 1 is fitted loosely in a through hole 8b bored in the bulkhead 8a, and in the neighborhood of the end of the adjusting bolt 1, a screw locking material is applied and thereon a second nut 6 is engaged in such a way as joined with the first nut 4 through the bulkhead 8a. On the opposite side to the open end of the main cylindrical member 5 where the first nut 4 is positioned, a lid 7 is fitted to a lid fitting part 9 formed on the main cylindrical member 5, and a ring-shaped fitting projection 9a on the lid fitting part 9 is fitted in a recess 7a formed in the lid 7.
