Abstract:
To provide a sealing method and a sealed product manufacturing device which can sufficiently adapt a glass tube to a metal tube.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing device, an inner peripheral portion of a glass tube 4 is brought into contact with the outer periphery of a metal tube 5, and the metal tube 5 is sealed and fixed to the inner periphery of the glass tube 4 by sandwiching the glass tube 4 which is heated and softened in a state where the metal tube 5 through which a support 21 is inserted is disposed in the glass tube 4. The glass tube 4 is sandwiched with the metal tube 5 preheated. Therefore, the temperature difference between the glass tube 4 and the metal tube 5 in the heated/softened state can be made small, and in a state where the metal tube 5 is sealed and fixed to the inner periphery of the glass tube 4, the glass tube 4 can be sufficiently adapted to the metal tube 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
