Abstract:
To provide an improved embodiment of a sealing ring especially for overcoming faults known from a prior technique.
The sealing ring, especially a shaft sealing ring for a turbocharger, is provided with an iron-based basic material or a nickel-based alloy basic material and treated with boron and the problem is solved by the sealing ring.
